About Us

Elks Lodge sign illuminated against a cloudy sky.
Elks Lodge sign illuminated against a cloudy sky.

On a Tuesday or Thursday morning at 11am, you might walk into Ontario Elks Lodge and find Vivian leading a room through movement and meditation. On a Friday night, a live band fills the stage and the kitchen is turning out prime rib and lobster tail with all the trimmings. That range tells you everything about what this place actually is: not a club in the exclusive sense, but a gathering spot where the doors open wide and the calendar stays full.

The lodge sits at 20 SW 3rd St in Ontario, Oregon, a short walk from downtown. RV travelers rolling through on the Oregon-Idaho border know it as a reliable stop with a spacious parking lot, a friendly bartender who remembers your drink, and prices that don't punish you for stopping in. Rated 4.8 out of 5 across 52 reviews, the reputation here is built one handshake, one plate, and one cold drink at a time.

Elks lodges across the country run on the four cardinal virtues: charity, justice, brotherly love, and fidelity. In Ontario, those aren't words on a plaque. They show up in the wellness programming, the community dinners, and the way regulars treat first-timers like they've always had a seat at the bar.

What We Offer

The Ontario Elks Lodge runs a full-service bar and dining room that punches well above its price point. The signature dinner nights feature prime rib, lobster tail, fresh rolls, salad, and dessert, often paired with live entertainment on stage. These events fill up, so asking at the bar about the upcoming schedule is always a good move.

Beyond the dining room, the lodge hosts movement and meditation classes with instructor Vivian every Tuesday and Thursday at 11am, open to members and their guests. The spacious grounds include RV parking with friendly access for snowbirds and road-trippers passing through the Ontario area. Banquet and event space is available for private gatherings, and the bar offers daily hours with some of the most reasonable drink prices in Malheur County.

Membership through the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks unlocks reciprocal privileges at lodges nationwide, making the Ontario location a natural home base for traveling Elks and a worthy first stop for anyone considering joining.

"Excellent Prime Rib, Lobster Tail, Potato, Small Salad, dinner rolls and of course Cake for dessert. A live band played on stage. I don't know there name(s) but they definitely had a 3 persons fan club, My Mom, My Husband & Myself. Their song choices were spot on!!! Thank you to the staff/cooks/Member(s) & their families for putting on this dinner. God Bless"

The Elks gave America
Flag Day.

Long before it was a national observance, the Order set aside June 14th to honor the flag. Patriotism has always been one of our cardinal principles, and every lodge meeting still closes the same way it has for over a century.
